Pierre Marie Woolley, M.D.

Dr. Pierre Marie Wooley is a global leader in orthopedic trauma surgery, specializing in low- and middle-income country settings. Fellowship-trained in Trauma Pelvic and Acetabular surgery, he serves as an associate professor at HUP La Paix University Hospital and the University of Notre Dame School of Medicine in Haiti, as well as the orthopedic Residency Academic Director at HUP La Paix State University Hospital. With a residency completed in Haiti and a fellowship in the United States, Dr. Wooley is involved in several professional organizations, including the Harvard Haitian Annual Assembly for Orthopaedic Trauma and SONA Global. A dedicated researcher, he focuses on improving orthopedic education and global surgery, particularly in Haiti. After his recent move from Port-au-Prince, he will work between Scalpel At The Cross’ headquarters in Miami and Pucallpa, Peru, helping transition the organization from a short-term mission model to a full-time operational focus on patient outcomes and healthcare system development.
