Melody & Alejandra’s Patient Journeys
Melody was a university student whose life changed when she lost her leg and severely injured her arm in a car accident. A Scalpel At The Cross team salvaged her arm and provided a prosthetic limb, enabling her to pursue her dreams despite challenges. Alejandra lost her leg as a child due to a poisonous reptile bite. Shunned by her community, she used branches to walk. As a teen, A Scalpel At The Cross gave her hope and a prosthetic leg, transforming her life. Now married with a family, she walks with confidence and faith.
