Maru is originally from Mexico City but has lived in South Florida for the past 21 years. Over the years, she has worked in the industry as a business manager, health specialist, and bank account manager, to name a few. Still, she has always gravitated to the work that benefits the body of Christ, and she found this opportunity working as a Mission Coordinator with Scalpel At The Cross.

When she is not at the office, you can find her with her husband at a soccer game cheering on their boys or having dinner with friends. Maru loves to travel and capture special moments with her camera. She is an avid reader and eager to learn new subjects. She finds joy in serving at her local church. Her favorite moment is to spend an afternoon at the beach enjoying the beautiful Florida weather with her family and friends.
